Our Approach  ·  Solaneve Studio

Source.Review.Record.

The Solaneve Studio catalogue is assembled according to a documented review process. Each body cream and daily supplement that enters the catalogue has passed through the same sequence of checks — not as a marketing commitment, but as a practical condition of inclusion.

The process is not proprietary. It does not involve specialist laboratory infrastructure or a large review panel. It is a consistent, independently conducted sequence of enquiries: what are the ingredients, where do they come from, and does the product's described function bear any relationship to its composition.

00  —  Editorial Principles

Solaneve Studio selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.

Products listed in the Solaneve Studio catalogue are presented for informational purposes and reflect the selection team's observations on everyday body care and wellness supplement routines. The catalogue is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Individuals with specific requirements are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional before introducing any new routine.

01  —  The Review Sequence
01

Initial submission review

A submission arrives at the studio — either from a supplier directly, through an independent distributor, or from an open enquiry. The first review is documentary: is the full ingredient list present, and is the supplier information sufficient to support basic sourcing observation? Submissions without a complete ingredient list do not advance beyond this point.

02

Ingredient composition review

The ingredient list is reviewed against the catalogue's composition standards. For body creams and body butters, the review considers the balance of emollients, plant-derived active botanicals, and any synthetic compounds present. For daily supplements and vitamin complexes, the review considers the nutrient profile, the stated quantities where available, and the general context of everyday nutritional variety.

03

Sourcing observation

Where origin data is available — cold-pressed oils from a named independent supplier, botanical extracts from a documented source — this is noted in the catalogue record. Where it is not available, the limitation is recorded rather than omitted. The studio does not require full supply-chain traceability as a condition of listing, but it does require honest communication of what sourcing information exists and what does not.

04

Claims assessment

The product's marketing claims are reviewed against the ingredient record. The studio does not list entries whose primary proposition rests on claims the ingredient list cannot reasonably support. A body cream described as "deeply nourishing" with a composition dominated by water, emulsifiers, and synthetic fragrance is not listed. A vitamin complex described as supporting everyday energy balance, with a composition including B-complex vitamins and magnesium, is listed in that specific context.

05

Relationship disclosure

Any commercial relationship between the studio and the supplier — direct payment, gifted product, affiliate arrangement, or indirect financial connection — is recorded in the catalogue entry at the time of listing. This disclosure is not optional, and it is not suppressed in any entry. Readers are entitled to know the conditions under which a selection was made.

06

Catalogue entry drafting

The entry is written to describe the product in the vocabulary of everyday body care and nutritional balance. No inflated claims, no evocative language that cannot be supported by the ingredient record. The entry states what the product is, what its primary ingredients are, what sourcing information is available, and what role it occupies in a daily routine.

07

Annual review cycle

Each catalogue entry is reviewed annually. Reformulations, supplier changes, or new sourcing information that alters the basis on which an entry was made are noted and the entry updated accordingly. Entries that no longer meet the catalogue's standards are removed. Removals are noted in the catalogue record with a brief statement of the reason.

08

Correction handling

Corrections submitted by readers, suppliers, or third parties are reviewed within five working days. Where a correction is substantiated, the entry is updated and a correction note is appended to the record. The studio does not remove correction notes after the fact; the correction history remains visible.

02  —  Selection Standards
Body Cream Standards

Body creams and body butters are reviewed for ingredient composition quality, emollient balance, and the ratio of active botanical content to formulation component compounds. The studio applies particular attention to the presence of cold-pressed plant oils, vitamin E and C derivatives, and the proportion of synthetic fragrance in relation to functional ingredients.

  • Full ingredient list required before listing
  • Plant-derived active content noted and recorded
  • Fragrance profile noted where available
  • No inflated claims in catalogue description
Supplement Standards

Daily vitamins and supplement complexes are reviewed for nutrient profile, format suitability for an everyday routine, and the relationship between stated ingredients and the product's described role. Products are selected based on published ingredient composition and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing.

  • Nutrient profile documented per entry
  • Described function assessed against composition
  • Supplier sourcing information requested
  • No outcome-based claims permitted
Transparency Standards

The transparency standard applies to both the products listed and to the studio itself. Any commercial relationship is disclosed. Any limitation in available sourcing data is noted. Any correction is recorded and retained. The studio does not curate its catalogue record retrospectively to remove evidence of prior positions.

  • All commercial relationships disclosed
  • Sourcing limitations noted, not suppressed
  • Correction history retained in record
  • Annual review cycle publicly noted
03  —  On Ingredients

What the studio looks for in an ingredient list.

The catalogue's ingredient philosophy is not governed by a single principle — it is not "natural only", nor is it "evidence-only". It is a considered assessment of whether the ingredient list supports the product's described role in a daily body care or nutritional routine.

For body creams, the studio values: cold-pressed plant oils (shea, jojoba, argan, rosehip); vitamin E and vitamin C derivatives; plant-derived botanical extracts with documented moisturising properties; and a fragrance profile that is either absent or derived from named botanical sources. The studio notes the presence of mineral oils, synthetic emulsifiers, and synthetic fragrances without categorically excluding products that contain them — it notes them as context for the reader.

For daily supplements and vitamin complexes, the studio values: accurate nutrient quantities per stated serving; B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, and iron where relevant to the product's described context; and an absence of claims about specific outcomes that the ingredient record cannot support. The studio does not list products described as producing specific physiological changes that go beyond the acknowledged role of the listed nutrients in a balanced daily routine.
